The Hazelwood Family.

It feels fitting to write this blog post today, my first scheduled day back in my home office after the arrival of my second son. There is a fierce gravitational pull towards downstairs, where I can hear my toddler reciting attributes of bulldozers to our own Mary Poppins who is rocking the baby to sleep. I want to be there with them, but I am also deeply happy to be here, dipping my toes back into this “work” I love. My own newborn is the same age now as little H was in these photos, and in revisiting this session today, I am reminded of how fulfilling it feels to capture a moment in a family’s story; to celebrate parenthood together. To celebrate these tiny humans who grow so quickly in between late night feedings, scheduled doctors appointments, grocery shopping, and walking the dogs. I feel so lucky to get to be with my family, and yours too.
