A Colorful, Flower-Filled Wedding At 1774 Inn, Phippsburg, Maine: Matt + Shay

This summer, I had the privilege of capturing a colorful, flower-filled wedding at 1774 Inn in Phippsburg, Maine, a favorite venue of mine (I may be biased- my husband and I got married there in 2017!). Bride and groom Shay and Matt are nature-loving gardeners and surfers, and every detail of the wedding felt infused with their love of Maine, family, nature’s beauty, and each other. I occasionally repeat venues with different couples, and it never fails to amaze me how a couple’s vision and energy completely transforms each venue into a place of their own for a weekend.

Every corner was bursting with color and whimsy from florists Mimi and Mum. Fire & Co provided their signature wood-fired and smoked foods, and Dragonfly Events coordinated the day with kindness and warmth.
